Medical Laboratory Equipment: CBC Test Machine

release time:2022-08-05 10:13:33

The cbc test machine can be divided into cbc test machine without leukocyte sorting function, 2-part cbc test machine, 3-part cbc test machine and 5-part cbc test machine according to the ability of leukocyte sorting.

The 5-Part cbc test machine and 3-Part cbc test machine are currently used by medical institutions at all levels.

Early blood cell testing equipment dates back to 1590. The most primitive microscope was designed and manufactured by Dutchmen Middelburg and Jensen. Later this microscope was developed and improved, and in 1658 the Italian Malpighi observed red blood cells under the microscope for the first time. This led to the gradual realization that there was a relationship between the number of cells in the blood and the occurrence and development of disease, which in turn prompted scientists to begin researching methods of cell counting.

After more than 100 years of application, evolution and development. By 1953, the famous Coulter's principle was proposed by Wallace H. Coulter of Beckman Coulter and his brother Joseph R. Coulter, Jr. after nearly a decade of effort. That is, the principle of electrical impedance. and received a U.S. patent in that year. The first blood cell counter was introduced the following year. Therefore, Coulter's principle has become the most classic principle in blood cell counting and analysis.

In 1974 the first leukocyte analyzer with preliminary leukocyte classification, the Hema log D, was introduced. This product initially classified leukocytes into five categories: lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils and neutrophils.

Now, various cbc test machine manufacturers continue to push the envelope in leukocyte five classification technology. The representative products include Sysmex's multi-channel impedance, RF and combined cytochemical detection technology, Abbott's multi-angle polarized light (MAP) technology, ABX's cytochemical lipid total staining technology combined with double sheath flow (DHSS) technology, etc.

Now cbc test machine analysis technology is also becoming more and more mature. In the international market, Mindray and Hysenmecom have formed a double giant competition in the field of blood analysis. Of course, there is no shortage of manufacturers such as Beckman, Abbott, ABX and other blood field also do a good job.
